Taj Mahal is in Agra, Uttar Pradesh state,in India.Taj Mahal was built by
Shah Jahan in 1648 who was the emperor and the grandson of Akbar King.The Taj Mahal
was made of white marble stones with precious gems and precious stones spread on its walls.
It was built in the memory of Shah Johan's beloved wife Mum Taj mahal, she was died
during the birth of her 14 th child. Before her death he promised that he would not marry and would build a tomb for her remembrance.
After her death Shah jahan was in deep sorrow
and he started to build Tajmahal. The construction started in 1632 with 20,000 workers, it
took 22 years to complete the Tomb, after completed the Taj mahal. Shah Jahan became
serious ill, after his death his body was placed in a tomb next to the Mumtaj mahal.

one of the seven wonders of the world. The best time to visit the Taj Mahal is
before the sunrise, sunset and under the moon light,because when the light hits the
monument, it appears pink in the morning, it appears golden in the evening. The
Taj Mahal surrounded with beautiful gardens and it has great reflecting pool
which doubles the beauty of Taj Mahal. It is most famous monument of Indian history, every year some 2 million people are visiting Taj Mahal.
